The Kensington Business Improvement Area (BIA) is the commercial heart of Kensington, encompassing Kensington Road (east of 14 Street NW) and 10 Street NW (from the Bow River to 5th Avenue NW). Home to nearly 250 businesses, the BIA is dedicated to supporting local businesses and fostering a thriving neighbourhood.

Our Mission

Our mandate is to enhance and maintain public spaces, beautify the streetscape andpromote Kensington as a premier destination for shopping, dining and services. Webelieve that every dollar spent locally drives economic growth, creates jobs andstrengthens the vibrant community that makes Kensington so unique.
